The purpose of Maserati part number 980138116 silver-box-plug is to connect the fuel rail to the fuel injector on Maserati 4200 models. It is also known as the fuel injector connector plug.

The silver-box-plug is a critical component of the fuel injection system, as it ensures that the fuel injectors are properly supplied with fuel. If the silver-box-plug is damaged or fails, it can cause a number of problems, including:

• Engine misfires.
• Reduced fuel economy.
• Engine performance problems.
• Starting problems.

In some cases, a faulty silver-box-plug can even cause the engine to stall.
